Eduardo founded London-based Pertento Partners in February 2021, where he leads an investment team of six research analysts in his role as CIO. Pertento manages nearly $4bn in firmwide assets, the majority of which are invested in a global long/short equity strategy. Eduardo and team engage in investigative research to back the most attractive growth companies and to uncover shorting opportunities worldwide. Prior to Pertento, Eduardo spent 13 years at Valiant Capital Management LP in San Francisco, overseeing the firm’s single stock short book in addition to his general oversight responsibilities as a Managing Partner. Eduardo started his career as an analyst at 3G Capital in 2004 in New York. He graduated from Pontificial Catholic University in Rio de Janeiro with a BA in Economics and holds an MSc in Management and Regulation of Risk from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
